Lost and Found

If you lose an item on a SMART train, Connect shuttle, or platform:

Report online (recommended)

Submitting a report online is the fastest way to let us know about your missing item(s). Once you complete the form, a ticket is created immediately for our Customer Service team so they can begin reuniting you with your item(s). If your item is received at the Customer Service Center, we’ll contact you to arrange pickup.

Report a Problem

To report a problem, tell the train conductor or a SMART employee. You can also call SMART's Customer Service Center at (707) 794-3330.

About the District

In 2002, a new regional transportation district was established to oversee the development and implementation of passenger rail service in Sonoma and Marin Counties. The new rail district, created with the passage of California State Assembly Bill 2224 (Nation, District 6), holds in public ownership, over seventy miles of railroad right-of-way.

Purchase Fares

You can pay to ride SMART using a Clipper® card or SMART's mobile ticketing app. SMART does not accept cash fare.
