SMART Board Member Compensation Policy

SMART Board Members are provided a stipend of one hundred dollars ($100) for attending Board meetings, which is designed as both a stipend and in lieu of reimbursement for travel or personal expenses.  Any Member who must travel in excess of 150 miles round trip, from their place of residence, to attend a Board meeting, receives one hundred ($100) in addition to the meeting stipend. The Chair and Vice Chair shall also be paid, in addition to the meeting stipend, a stipend of two hundred dollars ($200) in recognition of the performance of their additional duties as Chair and Vice Chair.
