We’ve rounded up local, family-friendly events that are a reasonable walk from our stations during regular service hours. We recommend giving the walking distance and train schedule a quick look to make sure everything feels comfortable and that you can get to the fun—and back home—right on time.

  • All Month: SMART is your ticket to celebrating FeBREWary – a month-long craft brewery event featuring beer tastings, tours, tap takeovers, and special limited-edition releases of craft beers that you won’t want to miss!
  • All month: Stop in, grab some skates, and enjoy Public Skate hours at Snoopy’s Home Ice

 

 

  • February 10-March 27: Visit WAR! — What About the Kids?, an exhibition of over 40 original artworks by the children of Ukraine at The Community Media Center of Marin
  • February 13: Enjoy some valentine's shoppping, with a little old-fashioned charm at the Marin Country Mart
  • February 13-15: Enjoy a front row seat at the Winter Olympics viewing party at the Marin Country Mart
  • February 14: Join Adobe Rooad Winery for a decadent chocolate fondue experience
  • February 15: Join The Floathouse for a gentle, guided paddle upstream, perfectly timed to a 6.9-foot high tide
  • February 15: Join Arnie Sleutelberg, Rabbi, comedian, and historian in a thought-provolking, uplifting, and engaging performance at the B’nai Israel Jewish Center

  • February 23: Celebrate the season of love with the Peanuts gang by collaging, creating, and stamping at the Charles M. Schulz Museum's Museum Mondays
  • February 27-March 1: The Marin Arts & Crafts Show presents a diverse selection including textiles, stained glass, furniture, ceramics, metalwork, jewelry, repurposed wood and iron, clothing, artifacts, estate finds, photography, paintings, sculpture, and artisan foods
  • February 28: The Mother Pluckers perform at Montagne Russe Winery, where guests can enjoy Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir alongside Americana, rock and roll, and new grass tunes
  • February 28: The City of Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department hosts a free Magic Show at Novato City Hall

  • Saturdays: Rain or shine, it’s market time! Head to the Marin Country Mart Farmers' Market every Saturday for a bounty of fresh, local goodness, music, and craft
  • Sundays: Turnip the flavor at the Marin Farmers Market, the third-largest weekly market in California
