Parking Services
Day use and overnight parking is available at several SMART stations. These parking services are a convenient and economical choice for commuting daily and for embarking on longer leisure trips, such as weekend getaways or vacations.
Day Use Parking
Day-use parking is complimentary at these SMART station parking lots during the hours of 4:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Recreational vehicles (RV) are not permitted.

Overnight Parking
SMART riders can park overnight at the following train station parking lots for the flat-rate of $5 a night. Overnight parking is from 12:00 a.m. to 3:59 a.m. Payment for overnight parking is made through the ParkMobile app and overnight parking may be booked for up to 5 nights at a time. Use the unique zone number located at the entry of each SMART parking lot. Overnight parking is first come, first serve. Recreational vehicles (RV) are not permitted.

Overnight parking provided by cities is available at the following stations, subject to a 72 hour maximum time limit. Recreational Vehicles may be prohibited by local ordinances.

- Marin Civic Center (on street parking, check for posted signs)
- San Rafael Downtown (Caltrain's lot, under the highway)
Recreational Vehicles (RV)
Recreational vehicles (RV) are not permitted to park in any SMART owned parking lots. Vehicle removal costs will be at the owner’s expense.
