SMART offers expanded late evening service for the Marin County Fair

Petaluma, CA—The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) will offer expanded train service during the Marin County Fair, June 30 through July 4, 2023.  In collaboration with the County of Marin, SMART will run additional evening trains to facilitate fairgoers taking public transit to the event. The expanded train service will allow fairgoers to stay later and watch the fireworks show.

The additional trains will depart from the Marin Civic Center Station at 
·       10:05 p.m. (southbound)
·       10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. (northbound)

Parking: Fairgoers are encouraged to leave the car at home and take transit to the fair. Free day-use parking is available at most SMART stations.

Youth Ride Free:  Through August 31, 2023, youth K-12 ride free with a student or government issues ID. Children ages 5 and under ride free year-round and must be accompanied by an adult.
